Draw for the first two rounds

FA CUP DRAW

The draw for the Emirates FA Cup was made on Friday, with the potential for a return to Harrow Borough for their erstwhile manager, Jordan Berry, and the players who have followed him from Earlsmead to Runnymede Stadium.
In the extra preliminary round the draw has the Sarnies travelling on 3 August to Ashford United. Nicknamed “The Nuts and Bolts”, the Kent side play at The Homelands, in Kingsnorth The Homelands Ashford Road, Ashford TN26 1NJ). The pitch is synthetic.
Ashford United finished in 11th place last season the Isthmian One South East division, with 45 points from 38 games. This will be the first ever meeting between the two clubs.
The winners of the tie will travel on 17 August to Harrow Borough, the club Jordan Berry managed last season, having managed Egham Town the season before. Egham’s record against Kent sides in cup competitions has been up and down, but to give the new squad the support they will need the club have already arranged a coach to take Sarnie fans to what will be the first, hopefully successful, competitive game of the new season.
In the Isuzu FA Vase the Sarnies will not play until the First Round, on 19 October 2024. They are one of 32 clubs who played in last season’s Third Round Proper, did not progress to the Fourth Round Proper and have not been transferred to the FA Trophy.
